Saturday

Today is Saturday and we're staying at this lodge in the woods in Gakona AK. Life is creative up here. For example, this lodge is really a house and the family that owns it moves out in the spring so they can rent it out. The bathroom is kind of public so the other cabins on the property that dont have bathrooms get to come in and use "ours". This morning's ride included spectacular scenery, which is what Alaska is all about. Yesterdays ride was through the Yukon and we eventually entered back into the U.S. through customs, where the customs agents live. Doug and Brian have not yet arrived but we expect them momentarily. The sun is out and warm today and Paul is sunning himself on the back deck. I expect him to stay there for a while. Dan is waiting his turn to blog on a real computer (which the landlord was kind enough to let us use) rather than poking that tiny PDA with the little stick for hours at a time. Thats all for now.
